i too have seen adam recently and he doesn't look different at all, btw im a filmmaker and yes age is easy to take care of and the only one theyd have to worry about is Daphne and her role has been cast.

I'd have to disagree with you about Jai, i really thought Wilson Cruz did a much better job as Angel than Jai, actually i didn't like Jai at all in Rent.

I'm so thrilled, mywonder, that you decided to share random infomation from the radio as "real news".
I guess if it's said on the radio, it's got to be true. Just like acid refulx.
Do you get your news from the Enquirer?
Just FYI..NOTHING has been confirmed. As of today, no contracts have been signed. And no one from the original cast has been signed to the film.
I hope this clears up this misinformation.

I heard on tv a few days ago that they were in the pre-production phase of RENT and had not even started considering people about casting.
But people love rumors, especially when they think they are fact.

RockyRoad, Variety and tons of information sources confirm that they are well beyond considering casting.

mywonder, he is right, though - contracts haven't even been signed. They intend to do it, but it's hardly a done deal.

Have I been chewing crazy pills for the last 48 hours or do we have 2 ginormous threads discussing all this right now?
But I guess if Chris Columbus et al still haven't started considering casting, then...well...somebody better tell Anthony.
That was sarcasm.

Hardly. Have you missed the other massive threads on this? Better tell that to Anthony.
Edited to alleviate confusion in reading tone.

Have you ever clicked on a thread, and after awhile just wanted to hiss and throw the computer screen out a window? Anyone? Just me? Yeah...well...
::big grin::
Im glad we started another thread. Too many posts to keep up, I swear theres like a million more to read every time I come on here...so yay, we started clean.
Tiff, I am *SO* happy for you and your recent nabbing of the Mimi Role. I expect an autograph and goodbie bag of all your merchandise you aquire over the course of the movie shoot.
::looks around:: Happy Halloween! o.o
Forgive me. It's late.

yes, i've read the other massive threads on this and even before anthony (he didn't like being referred to as Mr. Rapp) started posting recently y'all were talking up a storm acting as if y'all (not you in specific) knew everything about the movie. it seems to me that a few people on this board need to get over themselves, but no one really wants to tell them that. i'm not trying to be rude, but it just gets old after a while.

Yes, note sarcasm on the reference to Anthony. I've only referred to him as asked, thusfar.

We will now have a contest to see which of them has the best ass below 14th Street.
And I call Maureen, by the way. They may have thought I was too young when I auditioned, but never am I too young in my imagination.

there was no sarcasm in my Anthony comment. it was a statement that is entirely true...why would i have to be sarcastic about something that is obviously true and now known since Anthony said it himself. nice attempt tho
