Yay Jeremy. Definitely saw him something like three days after I heard Adam sing Glory live at that Kean concert. I went in like "argh. No matter what, I'm not going to handle this well."
By intermission, I was like "allow me to express my love for Jeremy Kushnier!!" and went bouncing about to everyone who would listen. Loved him.

It is difficult to believe everything on the internet nowadays. Unfortunately, when news of this calibur gets loose, it spreads like wild fire. I admitt, I even get overwhelmed sometimes coming to the boards. People go insane.

Hmmm Jeremy wasn't my favorite actually. I saw him on the nat'l tour of AIDA and loved him in that, and also liked him at first in RENT (great voice!) But by the end he just seemed angry. It made me not like Roger as much as I think you should.

Far from favorite, but I did enjoy him. He played a very angry Roger, but I always felt like Roger's anger was a really important part of his character, so I liked it. Would've been interested (well, a little) to see his Radames, though that's an even more difficult one to win me over on.

He was the only Radames I ever saw, so I don't have much to go on, but I thought he was good. He sounds a lot like Adam.

Really? Well, in RENT, at least, I didn't think so. I think there were a few moments where his voice did have a semi-similar sound, but I didn't think they sounded much alike. It was hard, becuase I had Adam's voice in my head the whole time from listening to the CD, but I did like Jeremy's voice, for the most part. There were some moments where I was like "Good God. The country thing... needs to go" but from things I'd heard, I was expecting him to be really "twangy." Anyway, I do wonder how he's sound as Radames. Unfortunately, that's one that I don't think I'll ever be able to come impartial to. *runs to corner, sobbing*
anyway, yay for Jeremy! I saw him in Footloose, too.

How can you say that about Adam Pascal? I think he is an amazing singer, and he deserves to be in Rent. After all, he was the original Roger... and if you think there is no age specified for Roger... then what does it matter?
I think it's great that they are all confirmed for Rent, I hope that they get Taye involved too.
