Just saw Rosario on Today. It was a quick interview, the usual things were said...discovered on the street, one of the two non-obc members. They showed clips from the obc on stage, and Light My Candle from the movie. I love the way she describes Mimi. Through her description, I feel like she will bring so many different aspects to the role...Only 10 hours until I find out!

You know what kills me? She told that story about the Today show appearance and the group of women with the cow hats who she said wore them because of Over The Moon...
Yea I was at the today show, they were a group of grandma's from Wisconsin I think who were in some club, and if I'm not mistaken, none of them even really knew what RENT was. The cast just assumed the cow thing was for them.
But it was cute nonetheless!

Ellen is on now for me. She's at Fulton Landing talking to Rosie Perez right now, so hopefully this means the cast will be on fairly early in the show.
Edit: Damn, it's looking like they won't be on until the very end of the show. They did play a little preview before the first commercial break. Jesse's solo kicked ass.

Yeah, they were on at the end. I think that was the best live version of SOL so far. Jesse was sweet talking about how he got to finally smile in the movie after all the serious Law and Order stuff.
It was announced on Today that tomorrow's show (11/22) will have a piece about Jonathan Larson. They're certainly promoting the hell out of the movie.

I was setting up my VCR to tape Ellen at a quarter to 7 this morning and I was shocked to find Idina Menzel's face staring back at me from the TV! It turns out that the channel 4 news had a story on the movie this morning. They said to tune in tomorrow morning to see/hear clips of the songs cut from the movie!!! CHECK IT OUT!

What time was Rosario on The Today show? Because I taped it and when I went through my tape, I didn't see her, unless she was on during the last half hour? Because my tape ran out.

The Ellen appearance was so cute. I loved how Taye said he was Denzel Washington and then held hands with Idina. Cute. Jesse cracks me up.

Kitkatt, Rosario was on at the end of the second hour, so you might have missed her. Nothing very new except some OBC clips were shown this time.
Ellen was standing beside Rosario after the song and talked with the four at that end - Rosario, Taye, Idina and Jesse. I guess they're taking turns since these timeslots are pretty tight.

Ok thanks, I should have it then, I'll check my tape again. I missed Ellen this morning but it's on again at 3pm here so I'll watch it then. I'm surprised that there aren't more late night talk show appearances with the other cast memebers.

weirdest thing happend for me.. i taped the today show starting at 8 (when i had to leave) for two hours and it seemed to go until 9 and then regis and kelly started and i was very confused. No Rosario for me 
--which i dont know where regis and kelly came from cause there not even after the today show ahh i dont know what happend.

xM3L24x - in Boston we have 2 hours of Today Show...followed by one hour of Regis and Kelly...then back to the Today Show for an hour. very weird.
