Tonight the E Live News show was all done from the Nederlander. They showed a couple of snippets from the cast's Ellen appearance, and from an AIDS awareness public service spot that the whole cast taped for E. It wasn't the whole thing, but apparently they stand in a group and take turns talking about it.

ETA: here's some additional information from Nanette Himmelfarb on another thread:

The cast was just doing little interviews on entertainment tonight from earlier this morning...only about five minutes long but was very cute for those of you who catched it. It also plays in the middle of the night so those of you with vcr's or tivo better set it!

How cute was it when Jesse was like I can't say what she is and Rosario was like "she is the bomb" or something?? I dont remember the exact words but it was cute!!

I saw at least three announcements for it this morning, so I'm pretty sure. Also, don't forget that the news show before Today is supposed to have some clips from the deleted songs. (I didn't see anything about this myself, just repeating what another poster said.)

This may sound stupid, but how do you attach a picture in the body of a post? I can't paste it in. It looks like it was taken at the ELLE shoot, but it's another different shot and i was going to show all of you, but I don't know how to do it

I was on the TV Guide website and all it says is 11-11:15 Rent Movie Trailer. VH1's website has a thing about Rent (http://www.vh1.com/movies/movie/265875/news/articles/1513352/feature.jhtml)

But after skimming it I found an error. Under Wilson's stuff it sats "After Rent: Won a Tony Award and appeared in Jonathan Larson's tick, tick ... BOOM!" they were think'n of Wislon Cruz

It seems to be the same length as the On the Set feature on Starz, so I wonder if it's the same thing.

Apologies, everyone, I didn't pay enough attention. The Jonathan Larson feature was on Today New York, the local show that precedes Today in NYC. (I'm not a morning person, I didn't know it existed.) It was quite a substantial piece. The "deleted song" was one which never made it into the show. A friend talks about how JL used to leave fragments of songs on her answering machine, and we hear him singing one phrase, something about sitting with a guitar, so it was probably for Roger.

Apparently there was a feature about the movie yesterday morning too.

Anthony, Tracie, Wilson and Taye will be on an MTV show called MTV Hits next Monday 11/28 from 9-10am, on the regular MTV channel.

They'll be interviewed at the Life Cafe for 8 different (2-3 minute) segments and will be tossing to videos (one of them being Rosario's "Out Tonight".)
