i cannot wait to see this! i have tickets for saturday. wouldn't it be a dream come true if michael arden sits next to me at the beginning of the show??? cuz they say he comes from the house like an "unassuming audience member" or something like that.

theatermom-which of the players do you know? i sat in on a pippin rehearsal last week and definitely could see how tight the cast was. they were so hilarious during "with you."

In a way, I'm kinda proud of Michael Arden. I can relate to him in a lot of ways. He's not the best looking guy but he has a certain look to him, but he has this incredible talent and he shines on a stage. I hope he succeeds in whatever show he's in. I'd love to see more of him.

And I'm PRAYING for a Pippin revival. I would want Darius de Haas as LEading Player, though, based on this man's unbelievble voice and talent.

Pudgy? What a weird and unnecessary comment. I'LL show them pudgy! Saw yesterday's matinee. It was a brief, delightful neuvo-Fosse time-warp. I forgot how 70s the 70s really were.

I had tears in my eyes. The production was wonderful and Michael Arden was simply a REVELATION. His singing and acting were superb- and my guess is that he'll be discovered by Hollywood and have a great success in film (which would be a big loss to theatre). I was absolutely blown away!
