She passed away a week ago but her death was just confirmed today. She was 83 and the cause was lung cancer.

I never put together Carlin Glynn, Pete Masterson and Mary Stuart Masterson! RIP Carlin, I love your Miss Mona on the OBC recording. Still my favorite version.

Carlin also played Geraldine Page's overbearing daughter in law in the Oscar Winning A Trip to Bountiful directed by her husband Peter Masterson.

Something I didn't know until today is that Carlin went to high school with Tommy Tune who co-directed with Peter and that they all knew the songwriter Carol Hall from a theatre in Texas (I believe.)

Gosh, and now her co-star Pam Blair.  So sad.
