ROCK OF AGES began filming today!

The film-version of ROCK OF AGES began principal photography today on Hollywood Beach, Florida (20 minutes north of Miami). Seems it was exterior shots featuring Diego Gonzalez Boneta and Julianne Hough.

As a local South Floridian (and with friends in the production team), I hope to post photos.

Miami: the only place tacky enough to be the 80s!

As much as I love Rock of Ages, I'm leery as to how it will translate to film.

Wow, that guy is sexy!!!

I think the movie might be a huge hit, it has big stars and everyone knows the songs. So, a lot of straight men will actually choose to see this with their GFs and wives.
