Hi, hannashule,
Thanks for the link, but it looks like the celeb list is last year's. I wouldn't be surprised if she attends again, though - that is, if she's in NYC at the time.
I THINK that Rachel's natural hair color is brown. In a couple of her earlier movies, she is a brunette, and it doesn't look color treated, but you never know. Personally, I love her as a fiery redhead. It gives her real spark. But she has a sleek, elegant look now that she's a short-haired blonde, and it looks terrific on her. What amazes me about Rachel, moreso than some other actresses, is how dramatically her face seems to change with different hairstyles, colors, and makeup. In the portfolio on her Web site, there is one shot that jumps out because it is so different. She has very dark eyeliner and mascara - almost goth - and purple lipstick. It's a real rock and roll look, and her expression matches it perfectly.
I think Corine2 said it in another thread. Rachel could easily pass for a supermodel. She is just as much a chameleon physically as she is as an actress. Very rare.

I agree lc
Go to the search engine and type in Broadway barks, and the first article under the BWW category is for this year. Her name is the last one, it's in alphabetical order.
I like her hairstyle in Kiss Me kate the best. That colors really nice on her, and 40's hairstyles are just awesome in general!

broadway86- that's exactly what I was just thinking. I too saw both DVDs backto back, and it's SOOOOOO weird to think that it'sthe same girl. They'recomplete opposites, the floozy Norma, and...Llli, one of the greatest female parts written for the Broadway stage. I love her Lilli though,it'sjust an amazing performance to watch.
And she is so damn talented.

Although I do not think that there will ever be anyone like Lucy, I thought that York did a good job, and the movie made me miss her even more.

Rachel was good as Lucy, and the guy who did Desi was pretty good, but the script let them down. The people playing Vivian and William were awful!
It is IMPOSSIBLE to do someone's life story in a few hours - and the timeline in the script was off by years sometimes. My favorite moment was when they finished up the 1/2 I Love Lucy series in 1957 and drove off in a 1959 Cadillac.
