Radio City Music Hall Safety Protocols

I was checking into tickets for the Christmas show, and noted their safety protocols are much more lax than Broadway. It looks like they're not requiring masks for fully vaccinated peeps & they're allowing kids as young as 2. Whereas ALADDIN doesn't allow under age of 4, requires proof of negative Covid test for ages 4-12, AND requires masks for all.

I realize Radio City is huge, but it's a bit unnerving given so many children attend. Here's some info per their websites:

RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL

All guests age 12 and older will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask.

Everyone else will be required to wear a mask, except while actively eating or drinking.

Children under age 12 can attend events with a vaccinated adult, and do not need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

All guests ages 2 to 11 will need to wear a mask while inside the venue, except while actively eating or drinking.

ALADDIN

Guests ages 12 and older will need to be Fully Vaccinated

Guests ages 4 – 12 will need proof of ONE of the following instead of proof of vaccination AND must be accompanied by an adult that meets our Theaters vaccination requirements:

• negative COVID-19 PCR test performed by a medical provider within 72 hours of the performance start time. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test. OR
• negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time.

• Guests under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.
• Masks are required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status.

He’s donated lots of $$ to the Trump campaign which is upsetting. It’s more upsetting that he’s not following suggested Covid safety protocol like the Broadway houses. Good luck with Radio City, Mr. Dolan, and please, sell the Knicks.

Heard the same stuff. The Rockettes are rehearsing with no masks and none has been tested at any time. I have friends working in television productions right now and EVERYONE from cast to crew is tested every other day AND must wear masks at all times. Only actors can remove masks for filming. That’s why TV/film productions have been running without a hitch for 2 Seasons now.

So the mask policy is impossible to enforce considering the NYC Keys to the city requirements for all indoor entertainment venues. All attending must have at least proof of at least receiving 1 shot. If all attending are have to have that one shot, I don't see the problem in requiring masks. The quicker everyone gets on board the quicker we can put this behind us.

Although I do hope as the FDA is expected to approve PFizer for children aged 5-12 by the first week of November, the NYC city council updates their policy to include them in the Key's to the City program by the beginning of December.
