Raisin in the Sun cast to do Raisin???

Is it true that the cast of Raisin in the Sun (Audra, Felisha, Sean) are in talks about doing a revival of Raisin (the musical)? Nothing official, just overheard some folks talking at 110 in the Shade this weekend in the lobby. Tried to figure out if they were people in the know or just fellow theatre-gossipers, but could only catch snippets of the conversation. I don't know the musical at all...

As much as i'd love to see a revival of Raisen, i doubt it will happen.

Nope. Just another group of wasted space in the lobby talking about nothing.

The TV version of RAISIN IN THE SUN recently finished filming in Toronto with the recent Broadway revival cast. That's it. Nothing more; nothing less.

If there were ANY notion or mention of a revival of the musical RAISIN with that cast, it would have made the rounds already, including a mention in Reidel's column.

As your inquiry is the very first mention of this, you can rest assure there is no validity to that babble you overheard.
