The Rat Pack: Live From Las Vegas runs at the Adelphi from September 23, followed by Christmas With The Rat Pack from November 24 to January 2. The Rat Pack show, which is returning to town after running for several seasons, features finger-clicking, sound-alike singers as the effortlessly cool trio who raised hell and sang numbers such as I've Got You Under My Skin, That's Amore and others in the late Fifties and early Sixties.
Gary Williams, whose CDs I adore and who proves just how talentless Robbie Williams is, used to be in this. I've never seen him perform live and would see this if he were in it.
The DVD recorded at the Strand is brilliant. However, the standard of each staging has gotten worse and cheap looking as the years have gone by. Lets hope its a bit of tarting up before it hits the Adelphi. It really is a fun night.
