And to me, that interpretation is the total opposite of the implication.
Things take time. And no, not entirely separated in the sense that *some* tie is still there. His wife knows about his sexuality and what he's been doing for years. He can still absolutely love her even if he's not going to stay married to her -- is the only kind of love romantic and sexual? Absolutely not. Why the implication that if he still loves her, they can't be part of each others' lives in some capacity? It's not black and white. "Still in his life" is by no means an insinuation that it's romantic, and I don't think it was meant to be taken as such. They've got to find something that works for them after all of this.
You know what, I'm just going to PM you. The necessary bluntness doesn't belong on the boards.
I brought up several posts ago asking why we were even talking about this subject and we should be talking about Company and the reviews, since nobody has mentioned that, and it is more important to me than who Raul is sleeping with. I have been saying over and over again, that I don't care about who he is sleeping with. I was directed to another post to discuss Company. This seems to be the topic that people want to discuss in this post. There are other posts around regarding Raul that discuss Company, his acting ability and the reviews... but not this one.
The reviews came out a few days ago. What's more to discuss about those themselves until more people have seen the show? Giving everybody "this seems to be where your priorities are!" hang-up is ridciulous. Look back at other peopke's posts if you don't believe it; I (and many others) have certainly spent plenty of time talking about his acting ability and that show.
Nobody mentioned the Company reviews on THIS thread because this isn't about the Company reviews, is it? I showed you one that's exclusively about the reviews, which seems to have died down for the time being, but there are literally dozens of other threads exclusively devoted to the show. If you wanted to discuss Company so badly, why didn't you post on those threads? I don't recall that you did. What do you want, people to beg you to discuss the show? What's the sticking point to this thread? It's not the only one about Raúl. Bringing up the show got buried, but rather than actually doing what you say you want to do, you just keep telling people what they "should" be discussing. Bump one of those dozens of threads, stop whining and begin a discussion. I know there are plenty of people who would be willing to engage.
If you don't want to discuss who he's sleeping with, and you don't care, then don't bring up topics about it yourself and then holier-than-thou backpedal. Don't act like you're just talking about it to cater to the masses whose affinities you have snap-judged, despite being pointed in the direction that mosts interests you -- and that which would prove you wrong. (Really, the only person who is actually talking about who he's sleeping with is the one who posted about knowing who he's dating. But even though your feeling sorry for his wife doesn't fall under "who he's sleeping with," either, since you've classified all of this that way anyway, it does by your apparent standards.) It "seems" people want to discuss it in this post because there's that little thing called being on topic, and because for now, hell, this is where the debate is -- it brings up a lot of complicated issues. Yes, people find it interesting and provoactive, but just because it's generated a lot of discussion really doens't leave room to assume nobody gives a damn about the performance of the man's career.
If you want to discuss the show, by all means, there are a ton of threads. You brought up that no one was talking about the revews (again, you didn't see it, so you assumed it didn't exist at all) and I showed you were the discussion about them was. I don't see the problem, other than that you see some huge reason why they should be here.
Also, check your private messages. I sent you one last night.

Just my two cents: I am so glad that Raul felt comfortable enough to give this interview. That takes a lot of guts and strength. If he feels like this was the right thing for him to do, then I completely respect his decision, and I think that we all should. His honesty is so incredible in this article. Seriously amazing...
