It seems really, really intresting.
Anyone else excited for it to come to Broadway?
Its also coming into the Lyceum, which is probably my favorite theatre on broadway just because [title of show] ran in that theatre.

A million hearts beat quicker there, a million lights they flicker there. No clouds of grey on that great white way, thats the Broadway Melody!

I missed it "off" -- I'm really looking forward to it.

I've not had the fortune of actually seeing any of LaBute's plays, but I'm a big fan, and for my senior Practicum i directed The Shape of Things

I'm extremely excited. LaBute is an exceptional playwright who knows how to work an audience and truly knows contemporary theatre. "reasons..." is a great, great play. It shows a maturity in his writing. I haven't seen it performed live, but just the writing is brilliant and it's hard to read LaBute.

Anyway, yeah. I'm very excited. Going to the 4th preview for my birthday.

Color, I'm going for my birthday as well! Whoot! One of my favorite playwrights in my favorite Broadway theater! Can't wait! I really would love to score some opening night tickets, but don't know how hard that is.

It was easily one of the 10 best off-broadway plays I have EVER seen (in over 30 years of theatre-going). Critically a huge hit. And I have to say that the fact they populated this transfer with theatre actors (Perabo being the exception, although she was in the off-broadway production, so i'll cut her a break) makes it very special to me. Its nice to see that there will be at least one show on the the Big Stage this year that didn't (pardon my french) star**** its way there. I can't wait to see it again. You guys are in for a real treat.

I'm excited to see it if for no other reason than the second play in MCC's series this year which was to be another LaBute play got scrapped because of the transfer of Reasons To Be Pretty in favor of the dreck that is The Third Story. I'm hoping seeing Reasons... on Broadway will make up for that awful taste in my mouth.

(Seriously, I'd want to see it anyway, but moreso because I have a big feeling the show that got scrapped at MCC would have been better.)

Reasons to be Pretty is a great play.
Great writing. Great characters.

The off broadway cast was great, but i think the couple of replacements will be just as good, if not better.
