I actually am finding the redesign easier to navigate than the old version, especially if you put it in flat mode. And while yes, they do have a high quotient of pearl-clutching fuddy-duddies, ATC has many wonderful posters with extensive knowledge. Take the good with the bad -- this board is hardly perfect, either.

Why redesign it if they aren't going to make it easier to navigate? that site is a train wreck.

yeah, but it's more fun. I used to belong to that other place and was constantly in trouble there for not being serious enough. I finally asked for my account to be deleted.

Huh, I never noticed that option the (relatively few) times I ventured over to that board. You're right that it makes it much easier! The non-flat mode format is bewildering.

I liked the non-flat mode because it was easier to reply to individual responses, but since I haven't actually posted there in over 5 years, I guess that's a moot point.
