Showtime has said there are no plans to officially release a soundtrack...just be lucky we got the DVD!

I don't know if you meant it the way that I took it, but I do feel lucky that the dvd is coming out, I was just wondering if the soundtrack would be released too. It was just a question.

The soundtrack in question was sent out by Showtime to Emmy voters.

Did anyone see the original black and white of this?

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much." "Did you say, 'nonetheless'?" - The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler

Oh, really? Maybe I'll actually get it, then. I wonder if people took it seriously when it first came out?

Haha, that's a good question. I sincerely hope the answer is no, but who knows?

Actually...yes...people pretty much did take it seriously. Why else would a plant that's less dangerous than alcohol, less addictive than cigarettes, and can provide alternative materials be made illegal?

I hadn't seen the show before, so the DVD was great to me. It makes me wanna see a really toned down, card board set version like the original LA or Off Bway runs.

Yeah, it's too bad that neither show is running anymore. The only (legal) things left of it are the short video on the official website and the LA soundtrack.

And, yes, the dvd case does smell like chocolate. :)

Time to pull out my obscure knowledge. Marijuana was made illegal because hemp was quickly taking over the rope and fabric businesses back in the day, and the cotton and wool people did not appreciate it. So they used their influence in the governement to make marijuana illegal and thus give hemp a bad name. Much like gas companies are doing with electric cars right now.
And why does the dvd case smell like chocolate?
