Rent rights?

I want the rights to URINETOWN. It is perfect for theatres with a low budget.
Now that the tour is over, maybe we will get URINETOWN soon?

Posted: 6/11/04 at 4:28pmThe rights are not out. I went on some RENT site awhile ago, and it said that Julie Larson (Jon Larson's sister, who's in charge of all this) has not released the rights yet.

RENT is not even listed "for future release" by any of the licencing agents. MTI already has The Producers in their catalog -even though it won't be available for years.
Beauty & The Beast is also available for community theatres. As has been noted here, the odd contract says you cannot infringe on copywrights regarding the "look" of the show - Belle MAY NOT have a blue jumnper dress or a gold ball goawn!
