Libby left the tour over a year ago and was standby in SF before it closed.

Katie Rose did have the flu but that isn't why she is out. She is on vocal rest for 6-8 weeks. She won't be out for 3 months as "adamgreer" is saying

Back to the actual topic Richard is an excellent Fiyero and I can't wait to see him again.

Clarke should just not return. Her attendance has been atrocious since day one.

8 weeks is two months. Add the three weeks she's already been out and you're nearly at 3 months.

6-8 weeks INCLUDING the 3 weeks she has already missed.
Katie Rose is projected to return on April 19th.

I'm sure she would just give up a great paying job like that. She has been in the role for almost 4yrs now.

Adamgreer, Katie's attedence may not be so great, but it's NOT the worst the show has ever seen. Amanda Harrison who played Elphaba in the Australian production had the worst attendece out of any pricipal actor in the history of the show. Caissie levy also barely got to play the role during the four months she was lead in L.A.

Back on topic about Richard. I thought his acting and singing were terrific and he was also great in "Legally Blonde." I'm really glad he can add this role to his list of Broadway credits.

How is it the worst?

Kerry Ellis missed 3 of her 6 months when she was there and Kendra wasn't much better(when she was there with Kerry).

Katie Rose took the same kind of break when she was on the 1NT. I think it's best that she knows when to take off and not subject people to some subpar performances. I'm not bashing Katie Rose at all since I adore her and think her and Teal are the best pair that I ever saw.

So off topic BUT, Saycon Sengbloh was f'ed over, never getting the role. I know she performed the role many many many times over a period of a few years, as a standby.

You can say the same about Julie Reiber and the current standby Jennifer DiNioa.

He will match up perfectly with the 40yr old Glinda that is acting lead!

DefyGravity777, I meant KRC's attendence WAS NOT the worst the show has ever seen. I forgot to add the word, not. Amanda and Caissie's ateendance was far worse.

ETA: Good luck to Richard tonight on playing the role for the first time on Broadway. He's a great guy and a very talented actor and singer.

What happened to Heather Spore? She's listed on playbill.com's who's who for Wicked. Isn't she a Glinda understudy? She's been with the broadway cast for years, on and off.

Heather is still there. She came back from an injury the day that Teal started. She has been injury quite a few times since she has been there and missed a lot. She hasn't been on as Glinda since Nov 5,2008. She is still an understudy with Lindsay Northen.

I agree. I saw him when the 1NT was in Boston. One of the better Fiyero's I have seen in a long time(including Broadway and the 2NT)

Saycon Sengbloh was f'ed over, never getting the role.

She is the best Elphaba out there. She is the only one who can nail Defying Gravity and not sound like shes shouting at the top of her lungs while singing it.

Saycon definitely deserved to play the role full-time. I was very fortunate to see one of her amazing performances as Elphaba.

Haven't seen Colin. Saw David Nathan and he was terrible. Perhaps the worst Fiyero I ever saw. He is really hot though...lol.
