Rick Lyon's Replacement!!

Ok- so I went on the website about Rick Lyon leaving and as many people have, left comments. The last comment I checked as of 12:43 was this:

I can't believe it- thats crazy! I am hoping its not just a rumor but does anyone find that a bit fishy at all?

Rick Lyon was wonderful when I saw the show last year. Actually, everyone was wonderful; but he and Barret (u/s at the time) stick out in my mind as truly engaging.

He was an understudy for a while in Q and went on quite a few times. I never saw him myself, but I've heard good things about him.

He was in RENT as well as playing Jerry Lukowski in the Equity tour of Full Monty. He is great!

I saw Christian Anderson when he was in for Rick and he was great. His voice sounds just like Rick's. Rick fans will not be disappointed.

I met Christian Anderson and his fiance/now wife? Cheri Smith when they were in RENT. VERY sweet couple. I wish him all the best - AVE Q may be his big break!!!

Christian performed when I spent a day with the Q Stage Manager. He was really really good in the show so I'm excited. He's also so nice and personable.
I'm really glad he got this.

I've heard nothing but good things about Christian; I'm sure he'll do a great job, and I wish him well. I'm just going through the same thing some of the Tartlets went through when Johnny left: No matter how talented Barrett turned out to be, he was not The Man They Adored. I'm a big fan of Q in general, and would love to see it any time with any cast, and I'm sure there will be lots of talented people involved in all the eventual productions, but no one else will fill Rick's shoes in my heart.

I saw Lyon's understudy, and if it's the same guy I saw, then he's talented and hot. He has long hair right?

BobbyBubby, if he had long blond hair, that was probably Peter Linz, who has been Rick's principal understudy throughout the B'way run. (Although I don't know what Christian looks like, maybe he has long hair, too. ???)
