Love your avatar!

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Yeah, Riedel is, to some extent, willingly playing the villain in his persona.

I also agree with R. Although Waitress may have a chance provided there is actual melodious music to be promoted in it. (I hope that's how kitty sleeps and it's not rigor mortis)

I have a good friend who works behind the scenes of Waitress and the buzz surround it is excellent.

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

I'm most excited for Waitress. It's got Mueller who is always a delight, and a gorgeous score. I just hope the rest of the show lives up to that. Neverland was a big bore, so I hope there's something interesting happening on stage here.

i think Reidel is spot on with his spring assessment.

We do also have the wonderful revival of She Loves Me....

and we still are in the glow from one the best second halfs EVER from 2015 with Hamilton, School of Rock, Fiddler on the Roof, and the Color Purple Revival.
