I'm sorry. I just saw this question directed at me. I do not have 100% confirmation that Threepenny will have a recording, however, Roundabout records a lot of their shows (PJGame, Assassins, Pacific Overtures, Cabaret) so I have a strong feeling that Threepenny will as well. If some of you recall, Pacific Overtures recorded a day or two AFTER IT CLOSED. Maybe Threepenny will do the same!

On another note, does anyone have 100% confirmation that Ring of Fire actually recorded the show this past Tuesday? I haven't seen any press releases. Thanks so much!

Yeah, i haven't heard anything about this show being recorded, even the closing notices didn't say anything.

Richard Maltby, Jr. said at the final performance (4/30)that the cast recording would be made on Tuesday, 5/2. I was at this performance, and I heard it with my own ears.

Heard from cast members that it definitely was recorded last week, but am in London so have to take it as truth from afar.

Well, I think that Richard Maltby (sp?) will dig a vault and lock it there so Geraldo's grandson can dig it up and find nothing, if you get my drift.

Well, this show should be lost in history. It belonged in a theme park, not on Broadway.

Well, if he said it, I guess it's going to happen, but I'm surprised they haven't announced anything yet. Maybe Dolly Parton will buy it up for her Dollywood Park.
