Rock Of Ages Re-Visit

I went to this show once again.
I must say, hurry and go see this before there are cast changes, Constantine was just fabulous, and such a nice guy at the stage door. He is a class act, and a real talent.
Kerry Butler's acting was actually terrific, she is a great actress, you could even see some tears in her eyes in the scenes that "Sherrie" goes through tough times. It must be hard to be into character in a show like this, that doesn't have a lot of depth. She also sang a very long note and got an ovation in the middle of the show.
Mitchell Jarvis is simply amazing, he is perfection, I doubt anyone could be as good as he is as the Narrator.
Lauren Molina(who was chosen by the DIVA Sarah Brightman to be in her La Luna Tour) is very funny, and over the top. She is a delight at the stage door, and very pretty.
Michelle Mais is just perfection, her singing is not to be missed. A powerhouse.

I agree- The show is a blast.
I haven't been a few weeks- I think I need a re-visit soon.

And I forgot to mention the wonderful James Carpinello, who was in perfect voice.
He is such a nice and talented man.

I've been dying to go back to see Tom Lenk - and I think I will next weekend - because I was a huge fan of him on Buffy. How is he?

Tom is great in the role- he has a beautiful voice.
He also opened for Constantine a few weeks ago at Highline Ballroom and was hysterical.

I hope he will be at the next show in February.

If you hadn't seen the show before, Lenk is great. But, Taylor was just on another level in my opinion. Maybe if I had seen Lenk in the role first, I would feel the opposite, sometimes it's tough to see a role recast because you already have in your head how it's supposed to be played.

Also, (speaking in a bit of code as to not spoil anything)in the the end, I could see Taylor as just being German, but Lenk? No way the character is just German when he plays it.
