This is very exciting. I think Roger Bart's personality and acting tendencies will add an amazing and hopefully eerie quality to Renfield. The cast list for this production is really quite awesome, and I can't wait to see this production of Dracula!
Later!

I don't think he's really going to be in it...I talked to him at the stage door this past weekend and he said it was misinformation, or something...
Which sucks. Majorly. I forgot to ask him what he IS doing...

Posted: 5/25/04 at 3:37pmAfter seeing the La Jolla Playhouse production in 2001, I was pretty convinced the show would never make it to Broadway. Aside for an amazing AMAZING set and a great performance by Tom Hewitt, everything else about the show was extremely disappointing. And I was a Wildhorn fan going into it with the highest hopes that he might finally get his hit. Though I swore I'd never pay to see Dracula again, this casting might be too good to miss. It kinda makes me hopeful that the show has been much improved to warrant such talented performers. Hey, a lot can change in 3 years.
