I think he is such a talent.... any word on whether he'll do Broadway again soon? I would love to see him in a classic show like COMPANY...or even as the Emcee in CABARET :)

He'd make a wonderful Hans in the upcoming production of Disney's animated classic 'Frozen'
I've always said he has a very similar voice to the gentlemen from the movie.

In all seriousness, I've always wanted to see him play The Baker in Into the Woods.

If Groundhog ends up being successful, he'd be a great Phil replacement

He was George understudy for Sunday In The Park's 2008 revival. I'd say he's totally up for challenging roles. More Sondheim for sure. Maybe Laf/Jefferson in Hamilton?

I'm not gonn lie, I'd be ALL for him reprising Hans for the stage...except for heavens sake get the reveal scene rewritten and play it differently.
Yes to more Sondheim for sure. Hamilton? Hhmmm...just because he reads what's considered "ethnic" doesn't automatically make him right for that show. He's a very clean cut dude who doesn't read "street hip hop" by any means. King George maybe. He has the comic streak for it, plus it actually allows him to SING like we all know he can.

I liked him a lot in the Encores! "Zorba." He has a winning, low-key presence that works with his natural charisma. In terms of shaping a career: He needs to create a role in a contemporary show, built from the ground up. He's probably too pigeonholed into revivals and period material.

Good one! Literally everything. I want to see him play every role. Skimble, I love Santino. I think he's one of our best.

I love Santino, too. I saw him in EARNEST (in which he stole every scene), CINDERELLA, and ZORBA but the performance that blew me away was as John Adams in 1776. I thought he wasn't ideally cast - perhaps a bit too young or likable? - but he was excellent throughout. I'm not sure about Bobby in COMPANY (again, too likable?) but definitely The Baker, and , in a few years, George in SITPWG.

I don't think he's too "likable" to play Bobby. He plays a pretty jaded character on Crazy Ex Girlfriend and I think he would do a great job. Also, I don't think likability is a problem for Bobby as it gives the audience more of a reason that all of his friends are obsessed with him. He's meant to be a flirty, likable guy that does a good job of hiding his insecurities and problems.

Speaking of Sondheim and Encores, I wonder if he'll have a role in the upcoming Assassins.

I'm a fan of his acting and beautiful throwback voice. A recent profile in the Observer said he is attached to the David Yazbek Tootsie musical, which is intriguing, and also a potential new version of Roar of the Greasepaint for the Roundabout.
I'd love to see him as Stone in City of Angels. He could also play Stine - would be so fun to find another star who could do both and have them swap a la Phillip Seymour Hoffman and John C Reilly in True West a few years ago.
