This. Similar to the fake controversy with Scherzinger. To the news junkies out there, it's hard to imagine that a person doesn't know everything about controversial people like Kirk, Brand, RFK Jr, etc. but Normies don't pay that much attention. To them, he's just that Christian podcaster, that dude from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a Kennedy, etc.

She said she agreed with some of his views, if she had just said what those views were, the whole thing probably would have been nipped in the bud. She may not have known much about Kirk, but when all the negative reaction happened, I would assume she learned more about him. A simple clarification would have really helped
