Kind of really encapsulated by his decisionof post ending of Jelli...

The "on the right track" isn't the clue; it's referring to posts that believe it's Bowen, is my guess. We'll find out tomorrow.

Please, for the love of god, let this cast recording be true. I won't get my hopes up until a press release, but it would make my day, my month, my YEAR! I need some of those vogue breakdowns & chants preserved in high quality. I'm an OG Cats fan, but I thought this production was transcendent. I also keep seeing the "it was vocally nothing special", which I just don't get. One of my favorite aspects of this revival WAS the voices. I'll never understand those who say this production is too di...

Re: Would the HADESTOWN film be Oscar-eligible?

Jul 29, 2026 — 9:50:03 AM

Per the Oscars General Entry/Eligibility rules:"9. Only bona fide theatrical feature works may be considered, and the Academy retains the right to deem any submission ineligible. This excludes from consideration such works as:a. Works which are essentially recordings of performances that were originally produced for another medium."

Oh Mary Tour

These were the two images on the website when it was still up. My guess is they weren't finished editing (obviously Meg's picture, not J's) and accidentally made it public.

Oh Mary Tour

Jul 20, 2026 — 5:09:58 PM

Don't think it was supposed to be announced yet, but the North American Tour page of the website showed who our Marys will be for the tour. Seems like it's been taken down. Drag Race's Alaska will open the tour and be with it through mid-Jan, and will be succeeded by J. Harrison Ghee for the remainder.

26/27 Musical Revivals

Do we know if Just in Time has plans to bring anyone in after Jordan? If it closes up shot in October/November, I can see Damn Yankees fitting nicely in the CITS.

Rumor: CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL to close in August?

Jul 13, 2026 — 6:29:13 PM

Beyond ****ing sad about this.Just some silver lining: Leiomy posted on Instagram that she'll be back from her injury starting Aug. 3 to close out the show. I was worried she wouldn't be better in time, but I'm so happy for her!

OH, MARY Reviews (2026 New)

This makes me believe the West End proshot is happening with the OBC. Bianca being in the current Broadway company was my one hang-up with that rumor.

Meg received her first Emmy nomination for Hacks today. Making your Broadway debut and getting nominated for an Emmy in the same week is not too shabby!

CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL Reviews

Why in the world are they doing a 10-show week? I get adding an extra show to have the 4th off, I understand moving from Sunday to Monday performance schedule for the summer, but at the SAME TIME? Terrible timing with how thin the cast is already spread. Prayers up for the Jellicles this week.

Gillian Anderson & Billy Crudup to star in West End VIRGINIA WOOLF, dir. Marianne Elliott

Granted, he was a replacement for Izzard, so he had the least time, and fair game; it was a preview, but he felt behind the other performers. Tovey, I thought, was the best Nick I've had the pleasure of seeing. Nick is usually the role I pay the least attention to. Not that it's underwritten, or the play discards the cha...

If they were ever going to bring it back, it would've been the perfect choice for Rudin's return vs. Salesman, a play that had a Broadway revival three years prior. You'd have all the "well, you know the production never really got its due, and it was fantastic" chatter to combat the anti-Rudin stuff. Plus, I have a friend who had ...
