Someone on Reddit is saying it's a limited-run holiday show with a recognizable title & an announcement coming next week. Grain of salt, of course, but that does seem more plausible than the guesses mentioned (including mine for Mary)

Hilty hasn't been a replacement since Wicked at the beginning of her career, so I imagine this has to be something exciting enough for her to want to. My bet (hope) is on Oh, Mary. Louise seems like too small a role for her unless she's playing alongside a huge star. I think she'd be brilliant as Mary. Also, I imagine doing an 80-minute play with a little singing would be really enticing after her experience with Death Becomes Her.

Just for clarity's sake, the film doesn't have a US distributor yet. The November 13th date is the UK release.

Rudin isn't producing All My Sons. In an article about Small Mouth Sounds/Downstate, it was mentioned that Rudin has a third show coming to Broadway this season (starring Metcalf) that would be announced at a later date. I'm assuming whatever that is will be moving into the Sondheim.

With Paulson involved, it's safe to say the Lapine-directed Goat revival isn't happening this season. (Or maybe it is with a different cast?)
Scott Rudin reviving 42nd Street
Mary Testa was on a podcast two weeks ago and brought up this revival. She's not involved, but she seemed to confirm that Richard Jones is directing. Also noted: they've been workshopping/reworking it & she heard that the roles of Maggie & Bert have been cut.I'm not sure how to link it, but the episode title is "Mary Testa Has Never Planned a Single Thing in 50 Years," and she starts talking about it around 21:50.
Sherri Shepherd teasing potential Broadway return?
From what I've seen, she's going into Aladdin as the Genie. I thought it was a joke when I read the comments on the post the Aladdin team shared on their socials today (not a formal announcement of her, just a tease that there's some sort of announcement tomorrow), but her posting this pretty much confirms it for me. A left-field choice, imo, but hey, she's clearly taking it seriously!

Don't think it was supposed to be announced yet, but the North American Tour page of the website showed who our Marys will be for the tour. Seems like it's been taken down. Drag Race's Alaska will open the tour and be with it through mid-Jan, and will be succeeded by J. Harrison Ghee for the remainder.
