and I hope it does, I just don't understand who decided it was okay for an abusive, powerful individual likeScott Rudin to return to Broadway producing. I have boycotted LBRR andDeath of A Salesman for these reasons and will continue to boycott any production that has his name attached."
The only people who allowed him are the theatre owners. They

Rumor: CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL to close in August?
Beyond ****ing sad about this.
Just some silver lining: Leiomy posted on Instagram that she'll be back from her injury starting Aug. 3 to close out the show. I was worried she wouldn't be better in time, but I'm so happy for her!

This makes me believe the West End proshot is happening with the OBC. Bianca being in the current Broadway company was my one hang-up with that rumor.

Meg received her first Emmy nomination for Hacks today. Making your Broadway debut and getting nominated for an Emmy in the same week is not too shabby!

Why in the world are they doing a 10-show week? I get adding an extra show to have the 4th off, I understand moving from Sunday to Monday performance schedule for the summer, but at the SAME TIME? Terrible timing with how thin the cast is already spread. Prayers up for the Jellicles this week.

How was Ferran, Tovey and Everett ?"
Everett, I remember feeling "meh" about. Granted, he was a replacement for Izzard, so he had the least time, and fair game; it was a preview, but he felt behind the other performers.
Tovey, I thought, was the best Nick I've had the pleasure of seeing. Nick is usually the role I pay the least atte

I'm one of the lucky few who got to see it, but I doubt it will. If they were ever going to bring it back, it would've been the perfect choice for Rudin's return vs. Salesman, a play that had a Broadway revival three years prior. You'd have all the "well, you know the production never really got its due, and it was fantastic" c

I was not in attendance, but based on Instagram:
The matinee was a swing all-skate. As mentioned, Darius made his Tugger debut (also on tonight), and Baby Byrne made her Skimbleshanks debut (on tonight as well). Bryce Farris did a split track in the matinee: Act 1: Victoria; Act 2: Mistofolees. Kendall Stroud on for Jennyanydots. B Noel Thomas on for Demeter (was Grizabella last night, and played Bustopher for 3 weeks post-Tonys due to Nora's injury). Donté Wilder on for Sil

Larkin posted on her Instagram that she's going on again tonight, so I assume it'll be her all week.
Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 6/29/26
Schmigadoon didn't break a million until they won the Tony, and have been sustaining there since. Plus, these last 3 weeks are the best capacity numbers they've had their whole run. I don't know what a bigger bump would look like in this economic landscape, where most shows are actively losing money.
I am rooting for The Jellicle Ball so hard, but I'm starting to think they'll end up closing on Labor Day weekend. They really needed that revival win to boost them
DEATH BECOMES HER To Close on Broadway June 28, 2026
I'm sad to see this one go. I'm a huge fan of the movie, and when it was announced they were adapting it for the stage, I was in the "LEAVE IT ALONE!" camp, but they proved me wrong. In a sea of lazy film-to-musical adaptations, it felt like the creatives really understood and cared for the material. Hilty, Simard, & Seiber gave some of my favorite musical comedy performances in recent memory. I'll also never understand the complaints about the score. I found it tune

I know Leiomy has been out due to injury, but after further scans, she announced on her Instagram that she's out of the show for the next 8 weeks. She has a torn ligament in her right knee. May she heal quickly! She seems, understandably, devastated ❤️
Ariana Grande-Sunday In The Park
The official Sunday Twitter account for this production posted a photo of Grande on her tour with the following caption:
"'Only way to make a work of art.' Our Dot is putting it together on the Eternal Sunshine Tour. That's what counts."
Seems like she's still attached. My guess is that ticket sales have been delayed because the Barbican ticketing website is in no way built to handle that level of demand without crashing. Implementing an entirely new&nb

"Dude, your posts are getting creepier and creepier. And the Jellicle thing --- you might want to consider seeking professional help?"
I'm sorry, what exactly is creepy about their posts? Moderating an understudies site for a show that has had multiple call-outs the week they have tickets is creepy now? Seeing a show they like multiple times warrants encouraging them to seek professional help? Get a grip! This is a theatre board, and an increasingly dead one at t
That sweaty person!
I, too, am late to the party. I always saw posts mentioning him as the source and didn't know what/who that was. I muted him on all my socials because I don't enjoy his delivery. Anything notable said quickly gets posted to social media, so I don't feel like I'm missing out. That being said, people who dismiss his gossip all the time BECAUSE he's unenjoyable are often coping. He's right more often than he's wrong.

It is definitely due to sickness. A Broadway show does not cancel a Saturday Night (very sold) performance for something like the Knicks. Though I do hope they win tonight!

Saw on Reddit that tonight's show has been canceled. Matinee still seems to be going forward.

That's nice to hear about JCM! I'm a fan of his. I saw one of the Hedwig revival performances where he was in the knee brace & using the crate, which I consider one of the best nights at the theatre I've ever had. For Mary, I was there his first week, and it might've just been a fluke. I had friends who went to see him later and enjoyed his performance!
Part of me might've also enjoyed The Audition through The Cabaret so highly because it lets him shine, br
OH, MARY Reviews (2026 New)
I love Oh, Mary, and have seen all the Broadway Marys + Mason. I wish I could see Catherine Tate, but it's not in the cards for me.
I enjoy the show the most when the comedy comes from the trust of the material and a commitment to the dramatic circumstances. It's a silly play, of course, but it is a play! Mary should have an arc. I enjoy it less when it just feels like a string of bits or the performer is commenting too much on every choice they make. This is all s
