Just some silver lining: Leiomy posted on Instagram that she'll be back from her injury starting Aug. 3 to close out the show. I was worried she wouldn't be better in time, but I'm so happy for her!

This makes me believe the West End proshot is happening with the OBC. Bianca being in the current Broadway company was my one hang-up with that rumor.

Meg received her first Emmy nomination for Hacks today. Making your Broadway debut and getting nominated for an Emmy in the same week is not too shabby!

Why in the world are they doing a 10-show week? I get adding an extra show to have the 4th off, I understand moving from Sunday to Monday performance schedule for the summer, but at the SAME TIME? Terrible timing with how thin the cast is already spread. Prayers up for the Jellicles this week.

Larkin posted on her Instagram that she's going on again tonight, so I assume it'll be her all week. 

Schmigadoon didn't break a million until they won the Tony, and have been sustaining there since. Plus, these last 3 weeks are the best capacity numbers they've had their whole run. I don't know what a bigger bump would look like in this economic landscape, where most shows are actively losing money.

I am rooting for The Jellicle Ball so hard, but I'm starting to think they'll end up closing on Labor Day weekend. They really needed that revival win to boost them

I'm sad to see this one go. I'm a huge fan of the movie, and when it was announced they were adapting it for the stage, I was in the "LEAVE IT ALONE!" camp, but they proved me wrong. In a sea of lazy film-to-musical adaptations, it felt like the creatives really understood and cared for the material. Hilty, Simard, & Seiber gave some of my favorite musical comedy performances in recent memory. I'll also never understand the complaints about the score. I found it tune

I know Leiomy has been out due to injury, but after further scans, she announced on her Instagram that she's out of the show for the next 8 weeks. She has a torn ligament in her right knee. May she heal quickly! She seems, understandably, devastated ❤️

I, too, am late to the party. I always saw posts mentioning him as the source and didn't know what/who that was. I muted him on all my socials because I don't enjoy his delivery. Anything notable said quickly gets posted to social media, so I don't feel like I'm missing out. That being said, people who dismiss his gossip all the time BECAUSE he's unenjoyable are often coping. He's right more often than he's wrong.

It is definitely due to sickness. A Broadway show does not cancel a Saturday Night (very sold) performance for something like the Knicks. Though I do hope they win tonight!

Saw on Reddit that tonight's show has been canceled. Matinee still seems to be going forward.

That's nice to hear about JCM! I'm a fan of his. I saw one of the Hedwig revival performances where he was in the knee brace & using the crate, which I consider one of the best nights at the theatre I've ever had. For Mary, I was there his first week, and it might've just been a fluke. I had friends who went to see him later and enjoyed his performance!

I love Oh, Mary, and have seen all the Broadway Marys + Mason. I wish I could see Catherine Tate, but it's not in the cards for me.

I enjoy the show the most when the comedy comes from the trust of the material and a commitment to the dramatic circumstances. It's a silly play, of course, but it is a play! Mary should have an arc. I enjoy it less when it just feels like a string of bits or the performer is commenting too much on every choice they make. This is all s
