With Ellen hosting the Oscars, get Melissa Ethridge to host the Grammy's, Rosie for the Tony's, and Lily Tomlin for the Emmy's and 2007 will be the year of the Lesbian Host.

I wholeheartedly agree

Not only did it include ensemble members but nothing could capture a theatre fan's imagination more than the sight of such a variety of performers on one stage singing and dancing together -- puppets, peasants ( from Anatevka), carnival participants ( Rio), denizens of Oz, man-eating plants, Radio City's Rockettes, the trios from Hairspray, Caroline or Change and Little Shop, etc
