Rosie on the view for "taboo"

did i make a little poem? anyway, she was on the view talking about her upcoming bway show...i can not believe she put $10 million of her own money into the show! they asked her why she didnt go to investors and she said it's because shes lucky enough to be so rich. She also made her own "taboo" pins off the internet which she gave to the entire audience along with Wynonna Judds new cd in which SHE bought because the record company wouldnt give her any for free. People can say all they want about her but, in my eyes she's the best publicist for everyone and anyone.

I think it is incredible what she is doing. Broadway used to be a world with one person producing (using investors for the cash--much like The Producers). Now you have corporations/groups producing as Broadway has gotten so expensive and "corporate".

If this pays off, it would be great to see her (or others) producing more on her own--or allowing other single producers the funds.

I agree that Rosie is one of the most generous and supportive people around today. I wish her well with TABOO, but it will be a hard sell. I hope I am wrong. It would not be the first time.
