Hey guys - So I'm Googled and I'm having trouble finding any information about rush/SRO policies for shows like A Life in the Theatre, BBAJ, Women on the Verge, La Bete, Lombardi, Elf, Rain, or Scottsboro?
Thanks in advance!

Most shows don't announce rush/lottery policies until right before they open (or even after they open).
I have found the best website (and most updated) is www.broadwayforbrokepeople.com which a fellow BWW poster started.

BBAJ will have a Lottery according to Telecharge $20 per ticket
La Bete will probably have a student rush because most other shows at the music box have done student rush. And I don't think it makes sense for a small straight play to have a lottery
My guess is Life in Theatre will be rush 2

I believe BBAJ will have a lottery.
Women on the Verge, being a Lincoln Center production, will probably have rush if there are available seats.

^ going with what Kad said, Lincoln Center's rush policy is $20 tickets 2 hours before curtain, one per ID. I know for the Beaumont and Newhouse it's whatever seats are left, but I'm not sure that'll be the policy at the Belasco. That's IF there's a rush for Women on the Verge.

When I checked at the box office, they said that WOMEN ON THE VERGE will have the normal Lincoln Center rush policy of $20 (however, because it's not in a Lincoln Center house, they have to charge the $1.50 restoration fee). I believe it's 2 tickets per ID, but I am not positive.
BBAJ will be a lottery, but they don't know pricing or other details yet.
ALITT will almost definitely be student rush, $29, 2 per ID, but they have not officially decided yet.
More and more shows are waiting until they day they start previews to decide on a policy, so keep Googling and checking.

Posted: 9/14/10 at 11:40pmI remember reading that the BBAJ lottery might be a student lottery, in the vein of AMERICAN IDIOT, for $20. Anyone know if that's changed to a general lottery for sure?

Posted: 9/15/10 at 12:52amWhere were the rush seats traditionally located for past Lincoln shows? Was it what was left over or set aside seats?

Posted: 9/16/10 at 1:55amI'm curious to find out what the lotto/rush situation would be for 'Elf' too, but I'm sure they won't announce it for a while. I'll just continue to cross my fingers that all of the affordable seats don't sell out from AmEx users!

Posted: 9/23/10 at 10:13amAny word on if there is a rush for La Bete? I might be coming for the flea market this weekend and would love to catch this before I leave the country...

Posted: 9/23/10 at 11:48amI will find out about the new shows this afternoon. I can't update Broadwayforbrokepeople until the evening, but if you Like the page on Facebook (facebook.com/broadwayforbrokepeople) I'll post the policies there as soon as I know them.

Posted: 9/23/10 at 12:18pmI'm hoping The Scottsboro Boys has something. I'm thinking about seeing their evening show on 10/10 (after a Women on the Verge matinee), but am putting off buying a seat in the balcony with hopes that there will be some sort of rush.
