Rush Ticket/Lottery Odds & Location

Do you think it would be safe to say that one would have a better chance at winning a show lottery/getting a rush ticket (and maybe even getting a reasonable seat) if the particular performance has a significant amount of seats unsold?

In other words, would it help to check seating charts on Telecharge/Ticketmaster & enter lotteries based upon availability...or am I looking into this too deeply?

Some shows have a set amount of rush/lottery tix, others based on avaiability. The digital lotteries are harder than in person and rush since there is no time commitment for online.

I think playbill explains pretty well what each show's policies are.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Some digital lotteries will give results a day in advance so you'd still have time to try rush/in-person lottery should you lose the digital lottery
