It's to the left after you exit the theater, right before you hit Frozen. Keep an eye out for the barricades and security guard who was very nice in keeping us updated the day we went. All three of the performers came out though we had to wait a while since they had a lot of guests. Heidi in particular was extremely gracious and stayed to talk to us (though there were only 7 of us by then), which surprised me since it was already a late night and the Tonys were the next day, but she seemed to really love hearing about our experiences with the show.

I wish the reason was better than she doesn’t want to, but alas. I’ll unfortunately be stuck at work, so I’m just relying on her. Has anyone done a weekday rush recently? Any updates?

Wow! Some friend. You're unable to and they're too lazy to.

The stage door is not far from the theater doors, the direction towards 8th Avenue. I can't imagine you'll miss it once you leave the theater.
As for Heidi coming out, imagine she does but ask someone working the door when you go.
Ok sounds like this rush isn't incredibly competitive. Would someone say 8:30am is early enough?
Also, for those who have done rush, where have your seats been?

I went on Saturday and I was 8th in line and got there at 7:30am. I can't say for the people behind me but I was able to get two tickets for the evening show getting there are at that time.
I went to the box office yesterday around 12:30 and they sold me Row J, Seat 2 in the mezzanine for the evening performance which was noted as “partial view” at $42. The seat was fine and wasn’t all that partial view, it just required turning my head a little to see Heidi on the left side of the stage but nothing major at all.
I loved the show and I hope to catch it again before it closes or when it makes it way to DC.
Around 8:30 today, 16 people on line! (For both shows)
Just a heads up for people, it looked like only the first 10 people in line got tickets (for both shows) after that, they were offering $99 tickets.
