This guys is spreading like a new STD, he is in Arthur, which is the #2 movie of the week, and he is also in the #1 movie of the week(I forgot the name of the movie), and now Rock of Ages? Where did he come from? Why are American audiences forced to see that him? WTF? He looks like he took his last shower 3 years ago.
I refuse to pay to see him in anything. Ok, end of my rant.

Apparently you've been living under one big rock for quite some time.

Russell Brand has been quite known on our shores for several years now, appearing in several American films, hosting MTV award shows, recently co-hosting LIVE WITH REGIS & KELLY and marrying one of our pop superstars Katy Perry.

1. Russell Brand has been in the American limelight for a few years now.

2. We found out he was going to be in ROA back in January. I'm glad you waited 3 months to make this thread.

I'm still saying to anyone that will listen that Jason Sudeikis from SNL would have been an excellent Lonnie. Russel Brand, on top of looking like a skeeze, has been really overexposed as of late, and no one I know actually likes him.

Oddly enough, when the movie was announced, Russell Brand was ONE OF the first names my friend and I came up with to play the role.

I find him quite witty and spontaneous on talk shows, as opposed to many comedians who either a) can only regurgitate lines from their stand-up acts, or b) refuse to say anything funny at all.

I hate most comedians but I find Russell Brand quite funny!!!
