I’m not sure but I’m glad it did. I heard some productions didn’t like at and starting telling folks they couldn’t do it. Or maybe like any trend it just fizzled. Actors are busy. I’m sure they don’t want to be bothering with that during intermission. Maybe the young ones do but the vets are probably over it.

This. I liked the Broadway SIPs but once BWW started including regional and high school SIPs the coverage started to get a little ridiculous.
Weren't a lot of these started by/with or at least given a boost by Max von Essen and Michael James Scott? I think once they slowed down, so did everyone else.
