These songs are Alan Menken at his best (then again, when is he not?!). I really can't wait for this show, and I really hope it does well. I also hope that show gets recorded.

One of my friends is playing Sister Mary Patrick.... So I hope they do record it!! I imagine they'd be pretty stupid not to... its gonna make a lot of money!! x

is sister mary patrick the shy one? honestly... if it is and it's not beth malone... that person has huge shoes to fill because she knocked her big act 2 solo out of the ballpark when i saw it... she was amazing!

Sister Mary Robert is the shy one and she's to be played by Katie Rowley Jones (London's original Nessa in Wicked) and she's pretty amazing. She might give Beth Malone a run for her money. (I just heard a recording of that number on YouTube)

Yep, Mary Pat is the Kathy Najimy part and is played by Claire Greenway, who's making her West End debut. Katie Rowley Jones is younger than Beth Malone, and is heartbreaking, with a great voice.
Peter Schneider is still directing.
The only person from the original cast is Patina Miller, who was understudy Deloris originally. You couldn't have too many if the originals due to equity rules - plus its the UK premier, so its good to have UK actors!
