So much Jennifer Hudson in this trailer...if I didn't follow the show I'd think she is the lead.

I don't know, she fades back in and out. It clearly is Karen vs. Ivy again.
And is Nick in jail?
I'm really excited for Jeremy Jordan! And I can't wait to hear him sing "Broadway, Here I Come"
Looks like JJ was hired for his naked, shaven chest.
And JHud does look like the star of the show.
Not complaining about either.
What Jennifer Hudson looks like is a star, plain and simple. What a force of nature.
still curious as anything to find out what they're going to do with Ivy?? Will she be in the show or not?? Karen's standby??
ACL, you obviously haven't seen the spoiler picture...
Is J-Hud in a biomusical too?

What spoiler picture? I thought I was keeping up with all of the speculation but I guess not.
There was a photo posted on here of filming at a Broadway theatre with the Bombshell poster. It showed who was directing and who is starring as Marilyn.

Oh wow completely missed that! Do you remember what thread it was in?

So there's Bombshell, Liasons, AND the J-Hud musical? That's kind of a lot.
Does the Bombshell number where Katharine McPhee is in a yellow dress remind anyone else of the Catch Me If You Can "Jet Set" number set design or is it just me?

JHud is obviously playing Melba Moore in the Sherman Hemsley BioMusical: SHERMIE!
now the key is, can the season begin to live up to the trailer, bc that trailer was pretty awesome...i'm super excited to see what they do with Daniel Sunjata & Jesse L Martin's characters, please please don't put them in a love triangle w/ Debra Messing's character though!! and Jeremy sounds fantastic

with GLEE"s ratings way down (they were at 5.2 million viewers last week) i wonder how this show will do. Part of me feels like america is done with musical theater on TV for a while.

Is Jennifer Hudson singing Purlie or have I completely lost my mind?
Fasten your seatbelts! This looks really fun; much improved!
I think if this is promoted right the show could get its footing back. I think with so many "stars" hitting the talk show circuit, etc. it might draw people in.
Still too much of Karen in that promo for my taste. But I'll give it a chance to show me it's changed from last year. The musical numbers do look like they'll continue to be the best part of the show.
