Hello
Do you have any idea if they are going to extened the run of SOUTH PACIFIC, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, LES DANGEROUS LIAISONS or TOP GIRLS?
I've seen on the Box Office report that they are doing really well and those theater don't have any plans until Semptember...
All this because I'm going to NYC the second week of July and I'm dying to see SOUTH PACIFIC and the other musicals and plays.
Please let me know!

SUNDAY has already been extended two or three times (it was originally scheduled to end in the middle of April).
SOUTH PACIFIC I could see being extended because of its classic status.

Posted: 3/25/08 at 12:09pmStudio 54 doesn't have another production scheduled until November, so there is plenty of time for it to extend. South Pacific might end up being like Light in the Piazza given the buzz it has received. Les Liaisons... and Top Girls would depend on how well they sell and if they can extend the contracts of the performers. It's too early to tell though because those shows don't start for over two weeks.

Posted: 3/25/08 at 12:13pmIf they do extend, could everyone here remember to post ASAP. I think tickets will be snatched up fast, especially by the brokers who stand to make a killing with South Pacific tickets.

There is no way that SOUTH PACIFIC won't extend ! It's a classic, it's impossible to get tickets, word of mouth is incredible and the reviews will probably be stellar !

Posted: 3/25/08 at 3:01pmi'm trying to get tickets for liaisons in may and there are about only 100 tickets left for each performance on roundabout's website. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, but the availiable seats are either in the last 4 rows of the mezz, or the way sides of the orch. Does anyone know what the last rows of the mezz are like in the a.a. theatre? i know there are only like 800 seats total.
