Apparently, Mary Jane is going to be performing in a Broadway musical and will be singing songs that will reflect her mood in that part of the story.
This is so absolutely awesome! This makes me want to see this movie even more.
Hopefully, they'll do another cool musical sequence like the "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" montage from 2.

I just saw an interview of Kirsten on the Today show. She does sing in the movie but she said she'd never consider doing a musical version of it on broadway. She said she doesn't have THAT good of a voice and it would be egotistical of her to not leave it up to the real broadway professionals.
Edit: added the link. The interview is found to the right of Angelina's picture.

*spoiler*
MJ gets fired because "nobody could hear her beyond the first row" which is what the critics say. Don't they have microphones to make sure everyone in the house can hear you? I just saw it as a really bad way to speed up the plot, and a really bad reason to get fired.
But I liked the movie anyway.
I saw Spamalot, Jersey Boys,(?) The Producers, Bridge and Tunnel, and Phantom outside in the movie.

I must be really tired because I looked for other marquees and couldnt find any, lol.
I love how at the end, she stops singing and the rest of the musicians just keep playing so she could slow dance with the same guy who trashed the place like a month earlier.
And did anyone else notice how no one helped MJ up after he hit her?
And my favorite part was that she could afford an apartment in times square on a nightclub singer's salary.
I'm not harping on the movie, because I actually did like it, but those things just made me have a facepalm moment in the theater. Not to mention Toby Maguire's emo makeup when he turned badass from the Venom suit

What I don't understand is this. After the broadway show scene, they show Peter and the other people leaving the Broadhurst through the main doors. They show the door of the theatre plus the Shubert logo (product placement?) and the actual lobby of the theatre. What they did show that is not part of the actual theatre is they showed two side box office windows outside. I don't know why they had to add in the editing room an extra window for the box office outside on the side of the building when there isn't even one there in real life. It's not like they had to add something that wasn't there because it helped out with the story line. The two box offfice windows were just there. Why spend the time to add them in?
