It was on for less than a few hours on the date the poster posted the info.

I quickly grabbed tickets, by the time I did, there was only 1 date left. Stupidly, I didn't check the date and now I can't make the date I picked, luckily I was able to give them to a friend.

If they go back on TDF it'd be great if someone could post. $40 is about the limit I'd pay to see this.

Scratch and claw for every day you're worth! Make them drag you screaming from life, keep dreaming You'll live forever here on earth.

Theater Disaster Fund. It encourages people to see shows that are really horrendous so the casts can continue earning paychecks.

Yes some of those truly horrific shows have included the following: South Pacific, Fela, Next to Normal, The 39 Steps, The Scottsboro Boys, August Osage: County, Black Watch, School of Lies, The Normal Heart... TDF has really been responsible for the some the worst theater going experiences of life.

The Theatre DEVELOPMENT Fund often has tickets available to new shows that open in a season, which often includes shows like the below mentioned, as they haven't yet "taken off."

Or, shows show up on TDF because it's a poor sales month.

Or, shows show up on TDF because they have had their hayday and are now losing life.

Thus helping to extend the life of a show, whether it be a horrendous show or a Pulitzer Prize-winning show.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
