GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK To Air On CNN 6/7
 May 15 2025, 11:27:14 PM

In 1956, Peter Pan was telecast live on NBC from the Ambassador Theatre in front of an invited audience. One year earlier, the original production that closed at the Winter Garden Theatre reassembled at a studio where the show was first telecast live.

Good Night, and Good Luck might be the first play to be telecast live on cable from a regularly scheduled, paying audience.

What will happen to Tony Awards?
 Mar 13 2020, 10:11:34 AM
The Tony Awards is an international television commercial that provides big boosts to the advances and awareness and interest in attending shows.

To not have the Tony's would be a death sentence to shows that are in an unprecedented state of jeopardy. The League and Awards committee will meet and hopefully come up with a solution that is fair and gives Broadway the boost that it needs.

All that being said, we don't know if this shutdown will extend past the 4 weeks. We don't kn

Just email producers, managers, and not-for-profits that you want to work for and say that you're in town for a week, want to start your career, and are seeking an informational interview for guidance. You may get lucky and get some responses. (Most of these individuals and organizations have websites with contact info or forms.)
JRB’s tasteless tweet
 Jan 10 2020, 10:28:56 AM
That's great advice! Asking someone to lighten up about pedophilia? Bravo!

It was indeed tasteless. Why would you have the need to share that for all the world to see? That's one that you save for your close circle of friends who may have the same twisted sense of humor you do. It's all about context. Publishing that to the world at large...what is his rationale? Tasteless.

Your point would normally be valid, however, in the musical, Christian didn't love Satine. Satine did not love Christian. The Duke did not love Satine. No one loved anyone. At least that is the impression I got when I saw the show. It was all pretty to look at, though.
