I’m certainly no Albee expert, but the way I interpreted it... Act 1 is the real world where they’re the three different characters that we see. Then, when she has a stroke, we see (in Act 2) a sort of dream/purgatory world where she’s reflecting on her life. That’s why we can still see her son visiting her in bed, in the “real world” that’s still existing on the other side of the glass.

Quick tangential question. Does Three Tall Women have any merch? Specifically a show magnet? I’m coming in to NYC and seeing the show Saturday before closing, and I was hoping to get a magnet if they had one, so I’m hoping if they had one that they don’t run out before I get there.
I looked all over for merch and they didn't have a stand. I had to order a windowcard direct from Triton.

Saw it today and the usher said no merch table. Also, this may be a dumb question, but I sat in the rear mess and could not tell if the woman laying in the bed was an actress or a dummy.

Phantom4ever, it was an actress.
Funny you mentioned that PThespian, I didn’t remember getting one for Michael Moore’s show, but then I remembered there was a talk back on my night and I stayed to watch, that’s probably why I didn’t get one...
