I hope no one judges her based solely on that performance. All performers have off-days. It's just unfortunate that hers happened to be on national television. If you can't take her seriously based on full performances you've seen, you're entitled (though I completely disagree).

Elphaba3, I HAVE seen her twice now, and I have never understood the fuss. I think I made it pretty clear that I had seen her live when I said I can't take her seriously ESPECIALLY in this video. The use of the word "especially" conveys one specific example of my pre-conceived view of Alice being ridiculous.

Vocally, he was flat through the entire show. He couldn't quite get up to his notes. And in terms of acting, he was barely a presence. I kept forgetting he was there. Every time he walked on stage I was like "Oh yah... right. Now this happens."

He was stretching so much for a lot of those notes in that video! He probably needs some R&R, but on top of that should learn some vocal warm ups.

That's why I said I hope no one judges her solely from the GMA. I figured you'd seen her.
