"Based on the true story made famous on “This American Life”, Stalking the Bogeyman follows renowned journalist David Holthouse’s secret pursuit of justice for a crime hidden for 25 years. This new play explores the dangers of vengeance, the power of forgiveness, and the strength of family."
sounds really intriguing....
I saw tickets on TDF and got them for this week.

It is also participating in 20@20.
I am seeing it this evening. Very interested as I was living in Denver when this was happening. If you google the show title and Westword, you can find the original Westword article. You can also listen to the broadcast of NPR's This American Life that the play is based on.
It seems the show will focus mainly on what happened when he was 7 but more happened to him and those things were also talked about in Denver if I remember correctly.
I actually briefly met the man the show is about. I am looking forward to seeing this play.

Posted: 9/14/14 at 6:34pmI'm very interested in seeing this, and that article is one powerful piece of journalism. If it works, it may be one of the best things of the past few years, but if it doesn't, it might just end up being another HIGH.

Posted: 9/14/14 at 10:23pmWow, this show is really intense and really packs a punch in its 1 hour 22 minute running time. The cast is all excellent (all veterans of multiple Broadway shows), and the set design is very detailed and quite fancy. It goes into excruciating detail of the incident that happened down in the basement - all the pain and rage felt (both physically and emotionally). What happens in the end (especially the 3-way phone call, as well as the meeting) are very powerful as well. Highly watchable show and the time just flies by. Very very well done.

Posted: 9/26/14 at 3:22pmHow is the front row seating for this show if anyone saw it. I have heard very good things. I assume such a small theater front row would be good. I saw something there a long time ago but I don't remember Thanks

Posted: 9/26/14 at 3:48pmI sat second row and it was fine. The stage isn't high. You'll just have to turn your head to see different sides of the stage. And yes this play is very good. Definitely go see it.

Posted: 9/27/14 at 6:12pmI saw it this afternoon. Let me be the first to predict that this play will be one of the finalists for the Pulitzer, and perhaps win. It's difficult to watch at times, but it's a topic that needs to be talked about. Sometimes, theatre makes it possible to discuss occurrences in life which are very difficult to talk about. This may seem like an off the wall comment until you see it, but I liked this play much better than "How I learned to Drive". It's much braver.
