Of course, they had to wig her. Their wig person needs to be fired.
Yes, that wig is awful. I know it has nothing to do with acting ability, but by appearance only, that turns me off even more for Samantha Harris in the role.
I saw Michelle DeJean last year. I loved her.
Allthatjazz, that picture of Lisa Rinna is absolutely hideous. How recent is that? I'll say it again, these people pay someone to look like that?!!
It's a photoshopped picture. You really thought it was real?
Sandy Duncan stunt casting? Are you kidding me?
She made a name for herself on Broadway. It's hardly stunt casting to put a highly credited theatre performer in a show. It's simply GOOD CASTING.
While Chicago has been guilty of some pretty pitiful stunt casting it's nowhere are terrible as what they did for Grease.
When Darlene Love is playing Amos Hart and Linda Blair is Roxie we'll talk.
I just saw her. She was really good. She seemed to really enjoy it.
Good to hear! How was her singing and acting?
Her singing was good. The acting still needs a little polishing. There were times where she was a bit too 'jokey'. But considering that it s only her second show, she did great!
A bit off but when did Chandra Wilson pass down the role?
I was hoping to catch her. I bet I just missed her..
Yeah. Chandra just left.
Roz just returned last night. But Roz is usually stellar in the role.
I meant to ask, How was Samantha's dancing?
The dancing was really good! Really fluid. I loved it.

She seems like a very sweet woman.

The wig looked a little better at the start of the show. It should probably be shorter or just have her use her own hair. It's hard to believe they paid for that thing.
She is very sweet. I worked with her at "The Insider" and she would always talk to everyone and was extremely friendly. I am hoping to get to NYC to see her.
p.s. The girl who gives her the flowers is Jen her asst. Great girl as well.
Looks like Scooter is to blame for the wigs.
And I'm sure she's a very sweet woman. Can't read a cue-card to save her life but I'm sure very sweet.
I ended up seeing Chicago again yesterday because I went in with no plans, and my first choices kept failing.
Samantha Harris was not as bad as I thought she would be, but I still will not say she was amazing. I didn't care for her singing and she did better acting when she wasn't speaking, like in "We Both Reached For The Gun." And the wig still looks gross.
