Did anyone watch Reel Wild Cinema on USA about ten or so years ago? She was the host, and it is from that show we have my favorite Sandra quote:

i think her funniest quote was when she told Madonna in "Truth or Dare" she is dating a girl she doesn't like, but she was still dating her and she didn't know why.

I have to admit that I can never quite disassociate Bernhard from Armistead Maupin's really wicked parody of her in the fifth volume of his Tales of the City series (Significant Others, the one where DeeDee and D'or go to the Wimminwood music festival). Whenever I see or listen to Sandra, the image of Maupin's self-absorbed legend-in-her-own-mind Sabra Landauer (lesbian poet and star of one-woman Broadway shows) keeps distracting me!

I have a new fave quote. They had a few in EW.

referring to Britney Spears and literacy: "When she read from The Canterbury Tales, I WEPT."

I can not wait to see this show! Going May 28. Who else is going?

Ok, I loved her show, but she was so rude to me at the stage door, I was the only person asking her to sign my playbill and she refused. It made me sad.
