Sarah Brightman - Rhythm of the Falling Rain
Benny, that clip is hilarious!!! I've never seen it!!!
That's when she was able to dance. She is like a Jennifer Grey and Janet Jackson all in one! LOL.
"How Can Heaven Love Me" with Chris Thompson is amazing though. One of my favs too.
Yes, I got a kick our of her reunion with Thompson for her Symphony live in Vienna concert. Some friends of mine thought he was an odd choice as a duet partner until I showed them their collaborative history together with "Fly"
Although many dismiss Sarah as being vanilla and for the PBS crowd, she really is quite eccentric and diverse in her song offerings as well as her videos and stagecraft. She seems to have very eclectic tastes and listens to all realms of music. I think she exposes the "PBS crowd" to some diverse and different types of music.
When she hopped on that bike in her Little Red Riding Hood costume and pedaled away in front of a green screen during the Symphony Tour, I nearly lost my mind. She is soooo crazy!!!! I think she might be a stoner.
Well, Bettyboy, for whatever it's worth...
... in that SCANDALOUS documentary about POTO, BEHIND THE MASK or whatever, there is footage of a clearly coked out ALW and SB dancing like there's no tomorrow in some euro-disco around the time of the POTO opening. I know Rice was/is a stoner (etc) but not sure about ALW or Sarah.
And I agree wholeheartedly that she is all about innovation and theatricality and does not limit her creativity in any way, whether in song selection or stage mechanics or costuming. THAT is why she is a DIVA and so unique. She never settles for less than state-of-the-art. LOVE her.

Don't anyone kill me but I don't like her voice. I am jealous of her vibretto though.
