I still can't believe she lost America's Got Talent to that toothless hick.

Her vibrato always makes me think of beautiful nature...The Grand Canyon, to be specific.

Oh, I'm so shocked and amazed that there's so much hate in this thread... NOT!

Y'all just can't respect the DIVA herself, I guess. She is divine and this was wonderful. Scaglione WISHES she had that tone and control!

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. LOVE it!

I don't disrespect her, she's very successful and that's good for her. I find her voice annoying. Obviously she's doing something right.

Brightman is very entertaining, and I saw her at the Garden earlier this year and enjoyed her performance, which is high camp. But she looks so affected when singing that it becomes a distraction, especially, as others have mentioned, the arm flailing as well as the contortions of her mouth (but hey, to each their own when it comes to vocal technique: Kathleen Battle makes the weirdest shapes with her mouth but her sound is just pure beauty).

First off I ADORE La Brightman, but I HATED the entire period she wore that awful wig. It is hideous and unflattering. She also wore a lot of unflattering lace dresses then. I think she has better fashino sense now and looks 40x better. I think a stylist gave her a talking to.

I think she sounds great on the song, but I think "I Feel Pretty" is a song for an ingenue, not a diva. I think once a singer hits a certain age, she should phase that song out. It's a very youthful, optimistic number and doesn't fit well for a seasoned diva. Just my opinion.

However, Sarah is perfection and I love every minute of her campy, over the top, theatrical self.

Actually I think her vocals are flawless in that version of Summertime. What is there not to love?

She hits the notes in "Summertime" but she did that damn arm thing again and she needs to work on her pronunciation. "Sooooomer Toooome and the loooooving is easy. Fooosh are jumpin' and the cooooton is high."

Why does it sound to me that she sings with marbles in her mouth? I agree that the pitch is fine---but there's a tone problem (IMO). I can't really explain what I hear---maybe it's just me??? (I first noticed it on the original Phantom recording)

Amen to that P!!!! Sarah is a true diva-she brings it all-the voice, the eccentricities, the full-blown theatrics, some camp, and a lot of glamour. She's not for everyone, but she is divine to me. I'll kiss her gorgeous, glammed out, spray tanned a@# anytime.

That video is whack, but I love it. Only SB could pull off a rubber catsuit, a hideous wig and a t-shirt with breasts on it. One of my fave SB songs. Oh Sarah and those experimental artists she pals around with.
