I know wikipedia isn't always right, but with a lot of the Wicked casting stuff, they have been correct. Anyway, I saw this under Broadway cast history:
"Saycon Sengbloh will replace Eden Espinosa as Elphaba on October 10, 2006."
Does anyone know anything about this? Has it been confirmed?

I spoke to Saycon Thursday night.
I can't say who is replacing Eden, but I can say it won't be Saycon. She doesn't know what she is doing yet in regards to staying on as standby. She is in the process of re-negotiating and figuring out what she wants to do.
Perhaps you should add a question mark in the title?

Becoz_i_knew_you21, yes. The replacement's contract was finalized at the middle of this week.

Of couse it has. If saycon(allegedly) personally told somethingwicked who the replacement was going to be then she shouldn't just leak it out to all of us bww.comers.

Sorry, I misunderstood your post. I thought you meant that Saycon didn't know who the next Elphaba would be.

Saycon is the Standby Elphaba, and I believe it's her real name. Shoshana Bean's real name is Shoshana Bean, and Idina's is Idina Mentzel, she just took the T out because it was always being mispronounced.
