On itunes now they have a 2:30 minute preview of the Scrubs musical - looks AMAZING!!! And is that Stephanie D'abruzzo in the hospital bed...?

As I've been telling people, it's like Scrubs knew that they were losing me as a fan and were like "Oh no! How can we get her back?? Of course... a MUSICAL!"

(I should note though that Scrubs has won me back with the new season; it's back to its old self again.)

They've done episodes with musical segments (the West Side Story episode in season 1, et cetera) but this is their first full musical episode. I am incredibly excited!

Yeah, there probably will only be a couple songs so I don't think they'll release a recording. They probably just assume if anyone wants it, that they'll just buy the whole episode.

I'm just grateful to Scrubs for airing during parts of January when my other shows are on break. I don't want to work on my thesis all the time during winter vacation. (The House parody airs on 1/4! Awesome!)

yes, buffy has a cd. so anything's possible. even if they just release the songs individually on i-tunes.

I am very excited about the musical, but I have not been impressed with this season so far. I hope they get the usual timing back.

The Buffy musical was great (and I'm not embarassed - well, not TOO embarassed - to admit I listen to the soundtrack semi-often). If it's done well, I think a musical tv episode can definitely work.

I think it can work.
At one point I was very sure that the Scrubs episode would, but I am no longer so sure.
We just have to wait until it comes on and see.
