Saw Fela! last night and I absolutely loved it! I would recommend the show to anyone, but not at the expense of seat C-17. I know that the $27.50 SR discount price is a bargain, but I was in seats C-13 and C-15, and before I sat in my seat, I sat in C-17 to see the difference, and you can see three times as much from C-13 as you can from C-17. The is literally a wall directly in front you and you can only see 1/4 of the stage from 17. Plus (!!SCENIC DESIGN SPOILER!!) there is a stage extension that extends 5 or 6 rows from the stage on the left side and it corners in the last few seats on that side in. I didn't mind it, but it does cut off your view sometimes.

Just a heads up because they just say all of them are partial view. Well some are a lot more partial than others. They should really sell that seat for $10.00 or remove it.

Did anyone sit in the seat during the show? Perhaps they don't sell it? Did you notify the house manager about it?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

No, they sell it. My friend and I were given C17/C15 for rush on Saturday. Its not that bad, but we did miss ALL the back wall projection, which kind of sucked.

I noticed those seats. I saw right against the catwalk that thrusts out, but I was on the inside side of it, so I didn't miss a thing. But, I thought to myself..."Man! Those people sitting on the outside of the catwalk must be missing so much of this show!" They should definitely give major discounts for those seats.

By the way, I love the title of this thread lol
