Advice on Seat Geek.  Any good or bad experiences?  Planning a Broadway trip & haven’t used them for Broadway tickets.  I had a very bad experience with them for concert tickets.  Months after buying tickets, a couple hours before the show they  advised me I wasn’t getting the tickets.  I had to get my credit card company involved just to get my money back.  They’re liars & I don’t trust them.  Hoping to hear about Broadway ticket purchasing experiences.

I've had no problems with them for bway tix. I also make sure I'm buying direct and not re-sale.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Ditto to the previous poster. I always hide all the resale options and only buy directly from them. I’ve never had an issue.

They're the official seller for Jujamcyn (Into the Woods, The Book of Mormon, Funny Girl, Hadestown, Moulin Rouge!), so you really don't have another option for those 5 shows, but you'll never have a problem with tickets not being delivered, since all the sales and resales are done directly through them.

I've never had any issues with SG.  They have been great to order tickets from.  Everything with them is digital now, and they have been very accommodating as I don't have a cell phone, and was able to go to the box office of the respective theatre, and get my physical paper ticket.

RichieSSRich, when you say that they advised you that you weren't getting your tickets - who are you referring to?  Did the show get cancelled due to Covid?  Any cancellation ticket holders would be refunded.

I have seen many complaints from folks booking sporting events that email tickets never arrived and it was impossible to reach a live person. That may be true.

However, as Neal said, as long as you have a confirmation #, the theatre box office can print you a ticket. They have for me once when my phone died.

They don’t let you change dates like Telecharge does. Instead they make you resell / re-buy tickets on another date and collect fees along the way. I spent almost $80 in fees just rebooking a single pair of tickets. Insane.
