I have the possibility to get row A (2nd row) seats 1,3,5 for Memphis. Just wanted to get any feedback on whether the stage for Memphis is too high to sit that close.
There are (obviously) seats further back available...but off to the far side (which I really don't like) -- or MUCH further away. I'm more concerned for my kids being uncomfortable.
(My kids picked this one after listening to the cd a billion times. I'm hoping for the best.)
Any thoughts you have are appreciated.
It's a pretty high stage. I sat in the front row (rush tickets) and it was hard to see; I had to crane my head back a lot. If your kids aren't very tall, it might be tricky for them to see. It is cool to be able to see the actors' facial expressions (and Chad Kimball sweating profusely), but I'd rather sit a little further back to get a better view of the whole stage.
Just see the show, avoid the front row if possible! Have fun.
